I have been in karate since March of 2003 and teaching for almost 5 years. I enjoy working with students of all ages and watching them grow physically and mentally. It is very rewarding to see them accomplish a technique that was difficult when they began. I am currently attending UW Oshkosh and pursuing a degree in Dual Elementary Education, with a minor in Speech Communication. Last summer I spent 3 months being a nanny in New York.
Karate has been more then just a way to stay physically fit in my life. I have learned so many life skills that have helped me in High School, college, and in all of my jobs. I have learned confidence in myself and my ablities, to focus, and to set goals. Those who fail to plan, plan to fail!
